Happy New Year

The new year brings a good excuse to shake up the website, wipe away the dust, blow away the cobwebs and see how many more cliches can be tagged onto an already overly long and pointless sentence.

To further decouple the content from the layout/look-and-feel I am now using Jekyll to generate a static html site from a combination of html+css templates and content written in markdown. This allows me to play around with the look and feel without losing all the content whilst also allowing me to store the content in subversion without all the faff of yet another SQL powered CMS.
